Cardiometabolic comorbidities and psoriasis
Psoriasis is currently considered a systemic disease associated with several comorbidities.
Cardiometabolic comorbidities and cardiovascular disease are the main cause of morbidity
and mortality in patients with psoriasis and have a huge impact on the management of
psoriasis.
Increasing awareness among dermatologists is crucial to improve management of
psoriasis.
