Dr Sidra Khan is a dermatology consultant based at Manchester Foundation Trust and an
honorary lecturer at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. She has a strong interest
in complex skin infections, tropical dermatology and global health. She is a member of
the International Foundation of Dermatology’s Migrant Health Working Group and has
set up a teledermatology service in the Cox’s bazar Refugee Camp in Bangladesh. She is
also a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology’s Mycology
Taskforce and is studying the global spread of and trends in dermatophyte resistance.
She is also the current lead for the British Association of Dermatology’s Global Health
Committee.
