Dr. Asmahane Souissi MD

Dr. Asmahane Souissi is dermatologist, trichologist, and Associate Professor of Dermatology at University of Tunis. She received her postgraduate training at Saint Louis Hospital and Sabouraud Center in Paris, France. Hair disorders, trichoscopy and psychodermatology are her main areas of interest and expertise. She is a board member and treasurer of Tunisian Society of Dermatology and Venereology. Dr. Souissi has authored and co-authored more than 50 peer reviewed scholarly articles in reputed international journals of dermatology. She has also written several book chapters mainly on alopecia and skin microbiome. She is researcher, lecturer and invited guest speaker in national and international congresses focused on trichoscopy, hair disorders and general dermatology.
