Dr. Petronic-Rosic recently moved back to Chicago to work at the renowned Cook County Hospital delivering care that enhances the health of the public and promotes the physical, mental and social well-being of the people, while educating the next generation of dermatologists and dermatopathologists. She came from DC, where she was Professor and Founding Chair of the Georgetown University MedStar Washington Hospital Center Department of Dermatology and Physician Executive Director for MedStar Health Dermatology.
She is Deputy Editor of SKINmed: Dermatology for the Clinician, on the Editorial Board of Clinics in Dermatology, JAAD Section Editor for Dialogues in Dermatology, as well as Treasurer and Board Member of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Petronic-Rosic is the recipient of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Leadership Forum Award, the AAD Diversity Mentorship Award, the Georgetown Women in Medicine Leadership Award, the 2020 Washingtonian Top Doctor Award, the TopDocChicago Award, the Top US Dermatologists Award, and the Outstanding Service Award of The University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Division. She is also a National Inspector for the College of American Pathologists Laboratory Accreditation Program. Her interests include medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and Dermatopathology.
