Yuliya S. Ovcharenko is Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology at the Karazin Kharkiv National University, Head of the University Clinic Trichology Institute and currently President of the Ukrainian Hair Research Society (UHRS), Treasurer of International Trichoscopy Society (ITS), Vice-President of the Eastern European and Asian Hair Research Society (EEAHRS), and a former Board Member of the European Hair Research Society.
Her main professonal directions include trichoscopy, psychotrichology, alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia and hair and scalp conditions in children.
Yuliya S. Ovcharenko is a pedagogue who trained a pleiad of talented dermatologists practicing in the field of trichology.
She is author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications, 5 patents of Ukraine; co-author of national clinical guidelines, author and co-author of 7th books on hair.
