Prof. Ilknur K. Altunay, M.D., is the head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Health Sciences, Şişli Etfal Research and Training Hospital and also Dermatology and Venereology Department at International Medicine Faculty ,University of Health Sciences in Istanbul-Turkey. She is interested in clinical dermatology,chronic inflammatory skin disorders, wound care and psychodermatology. Altunay is the executive board member of European Psychiatry and Dermatology Association since 2017. Professor Altunay is the founder the first psychodermatology clinic in Turkey and promoted to get education in psychiatry clinics in residency programmes. She managed a lot of theses in dermatology residency and clinical psychology and lectures about psychodermatology in national and international meetings.
