In this presentation, the focus is on the need for improved education in the field of Psychodermatology (PD), specifically targeted at dermatology residents. The research conducted in Turkey in December 2021 involved an online survey distributed to dermatology residents, revealing significant insights. Despite being future dermatologists, many residents felt insufficient in diagnosing and treating PD diseases. There was a clear need for better education in this area, with most participants expressing a willingness to receive PD education from psychodermatologists. The presentation underscores the importance of addressing this knowledge gap and implementing standardized PD education programs for dermatology residents.
